Zèwtāq Gíhm (/zɛw/ /təˑq/ [sewage] [rifle]) is a subtropical Large City located in the Vātuchàjù Region of the Tetburland.
The name Zèwtāq Gíhm is derived from the Goblin language, as Zèwtāq Gíhm was founded by Vrigas, who was culturaly Tauran.
Climate
Zèwtāq Gíhm has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Zèwtāq Gíhm receives an average of 274 cm/y (107 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Zèwtāq Gíhm covers an area of nearly 93 km2 (37 mi2), and an average elevation of 5172 m (16968 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Zèwtāq Gíhm was founded durring the early 15th century in spring of the year 1445, by Vrigas. The establishment of Zèwtāq Gíhm suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Zèwtāq Gíhm which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.
Zèwtāq Gíhm was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Zèwtāq Gíhm is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Zèwtāq Gíhm is buildings folow an organic layout of spacious cobblestone streets whihch gives the city a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The city has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the city is well defended against anything short of an army. Zèwtāq Gíhm's cost-cutting-focused defences are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.
A look around Zèwtāq Gíhm makes it abundantly clear the city suffered something horrible some time ago. It’s a quiet city filled with closed scriptoriums, people quietly yet dejectedly reading in isolated places around town, and the occasional book laying in a heap of garbage.

Zèwtāq Gíhm has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Zèwtāq Gíhm's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Zèwtāq Gíhm possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Large City. Zèwtāq Gíhm's grid is powered by mana accumulators.
Zèwtāq Gíhm's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Zèwtāq Gíhm has a first rate hospital which caters to anyone in need of long term medical care.
Zèwtāq Gíhm has a library, which keeps a large collection of books, scrolls, and archives all manner of physical items. The library is open to the public, including the Aether Link.
Zèwtāq Gíhm has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Zèwtāq Gíhm's natural decorations nor waterways.
Zèwtāq Gíhm has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.
Zèwtāq Gíhm has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Zèwtāq Gíhm has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Zèwtāq Gíhm's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .
Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is long in Zèwtāq Gíhm.
The Phase Flea near Zèwtāq Gíhm are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Zèwtāq Gíhm's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves creating small tokens to channel Augury energies of tier 3 via guttural bellowing.

It’s probably not overly contagious, but visitors may be in some peril all the same.
